About this service
Hamburg's public legal advice and conciliation service for people with low income and assets who are registered in Hamburg (for advice on a job or training in Hamburg you may live elsewhere). It advises on many areas of law, including tenancy, employment, social and immigration law, and offers out-of-court conciliation and mediation. Registering a matter costs at most €15, reduced to €5 for very low incomes (2026). Advice only with an appointment, booked by phone, at the main office or one of the district offices.
