About this service
Hamburg's adult education centre, with locations across the city. Its centre for German as a foreign language offers German courses for everyone, integration courses, job-related German courses, exams and certificates, and the citizenship test (€25 in 2026). Free language advice and a free online placement test for levels A1 to B1 help you choose a course; registration for German courses is usually in person.
