About this service
Munich's immigration authority (Ausländerbehörde) within the Kreisverwaltungsreferat, responsible for residence permits, EU Blue Cards, settlement permits and residence cards for residents of the City of Munich. You apply online with the form for your purpose and receive a PDF confirmation; the SZE then invites you to an appointment for fingerprints. Personal visits are by appointment only. Booking is always free; the city warns against paid appointment offers.
