VÖBB - Berlin public libraries network
Official Non-profit Cost varies
About this service
The network of Berlin's public libraries, with over 80 libraries across all districts plus mobile libraries, sharing one card and catalogue. A card costs €10 a year for adults in 2026, €5 for students and trainees, and is free for under-18s and many benefit recipients; refugees can get a free card. The card also unlocks the network's digital offers. You can register online (full fee) or in person with ID and proof of address.
