Berlin Volkshochschulen (adult education centres) - German and integration courses
Official Non-profit Cost varies
About this service
Each of Berlin's 12 districts has a public Volkshochschule (VHS) offering German courses at all levels, integration courses, job-related German, parent courses and naturalisation-test preparation, alongside many other languages and subjects. Before booking any German or integration course you need a counselling and placement appointment at a VHS German department; many offer walk-in hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Bring your original passport or ID card and, if relevant, benefit notices or your integration course admission letter.
