About this service
The joint institution of the public broadcasters that collects the broadcasting fee (Rundfunkbeitrag). The rule is one dwelling, one fee: a household pays once, however many people live there. In 2026 the fee is €18.36 per month. Most matters, such as registering a dwelling, can be handled online at any time using the forms on its website. It is a national body, not a Berlin office.
