About this service
Statutory-insured patients need no referral for psychotherapy. Start with a first consultation (psychotherapeutische Sprechstunde), booked directly with a practice, by calling 116117 or online. If treatment is needed soon, you get form PTV 11 with a referral code; with it, 116117 must arrange a slot within a week, at most four weeks ahead (two weeks for acute treatment of up to 12 sessions). If no practice is free, it must offer a hospital outpatient appointment. Not available to private patients.
