About this service
Berlin's largest tenant association, with more than 190,000 members. Members get legal advice from lawyers in every district, phone and email advice, letters to landlords, and legal costs insurance (three-month waiting period for new disputes). In 2026 membership costs €132 a year (€78 reduced) plus a €7.50 joining fee, for at least 24 months. Advice is given in German. Its first rent check (Mietpreisüberprüfung) is free for all Berlin tenants.
