About this service

The government's volunteering platform (Réserve civique), which lists missions with associations and public bodies, from food bank collections to support for isolated people. Citizens and regular residents aged over 16 can sign up for priority missions; a separate section covers volunteers aged 16 to 18. Volunteering is a common way for newcomers to practise French and meet people.
