Free, confidential one-on-one financial counseling for anyone aged 18 or over who lives or works in New York City: opening a safe and affordable bank account, checking credit, making a spending plan and dealing with debt. Counselors never ask for payment and do not give loans. Book online, call the hotline or call 311 and ask for financial counseling; walk-ins are welcome but may wait longer.
