About this service
Keeps the Business Register (Handelsregister). Freelancers and business owners usually register within one week before or after starting: you prepare the registration online with DigiD and then, in most cases, verify your identity at a KVK office by appointment. The one-off registration fee is EUR 85.15 in 2026. The online form is in Dutch; the KVK Advice Team can help on 088 585 22 22.
