Business Immigration Service (BIS) of the LEA

LEA service for companies that employ foreign staff living in Berlin, run in cooperation with IHK Berlin and Berlin Partner. It covers advice on residence and work permits, employment-related permits and EU Blue Cards, ICT cards for intra-company transfers, batch applications and the accelerated skilled-worker procedure (§ 81a AufenthG). Only registered customers (companies, or lawyers and service providers they authorise) can use it, and only with a prior appointment; registration is via the BIS online form. As an employee, ask your employer whether it uses the BIS.
