About this service
Free, anonymous advice for women affected by any form of violence, around the clock, 365 days a year, under the short number 116 016. Relatives, friends and professionals can call too. All counsellors are women; they listen, explain options and connect you with local support such as Berlin counselling centres and women's shelters. Interpreters for 18 languages can be added to the call, and there is online chat, e-mail and counselling in German Sign Language. In immediate danger, call 110.
