About this service
The statutory health insurer for most employees in Austria. Employers register staff before their first day; the ÖGK issues the e-card, refunds part of private (Wahlarzt) bills, offers self-insurance for people without other cover and reduced student self-insurance. Online services and appointments are available through the website and the Meine ÖGK app.
