Issues tax file numbers, collects income tax and oversees the super guarantee. Most tasks are online through ATO online services in myGov. The individuals enquiries line takes calls from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, on topics such as myTax, your TFN and linking the ATO to myGov.
