Overview
Glebe is an inner-western suburb about 3 kilometres south-west of the Sydney CBD, in the City of Sydney local government area. It is bounded to the north by Blackwattle Bay and Rozelle Bay, inlets of Sydney Harbour, with Ultimo to the east and Annandale and Forest Lodge to the west. At the 2021 census 11,680 people lived here.
Its southern boundary is formed by Parramatta Road and Broadway, and its main street is Glebe Point Road.

Glebe has several heritage-listed buildings, such as Bidura on Glebe Point Road and the Bellevue house in Blackwattle Park, now a café. At the 2021 census, 44.5% of residents attending an educational institution were at a university or other tertiary or technical institution.
Glebe Point Road has a shopping strip known for its specialty shops, cafés and restaurants of many cuisines, and the City of Sydney runs a Glebe Library branch. Broadway Shopping Centre, with a food court and cinema, is at the southern edge.
